akp was appointed to construct an two storey steel framed research block, laboratories and office fit together with the installation of a new lift. The key construction activities included; Excavations & concrete foundations; steel frame; precast concrete upper floors with metal staircases; cladding to roof with glazed roof light; a mix of composite cladding & facing brick external walls with curtain walling at entrance; aluminium clad timber windows; roller shutter doors; block work and plasterboard lined medial stud partitions; glazed screens laboratory furniture and cold room , sanitary ware, lift installation, external works and drainage
