The Counting House, Glasgow City Centre
The works comprised the renovation of the office accommodation and common access ways on the ground and first floors of the Counting House, including necessary enabling works in the basement.
The scope of works included: mechanical, electrical & plumbing works; restoration of existing ornate cornice and ceilings, formation of new partitions, installation of suspended ceilings, installation of kitchen furniture, replacement of floors, and floor coverings and glazed screens; installation of new doors and timber mouldings to match existing; removal of asbestos insulation board within basement area and rot works, formation of new concrete floor at main entrance and installation of floor tiles.
akp was then asked to move onto Phase 2 of this refurbishment.
