West George St Entrance, Glasgow City Centre
This project involved the complete renovation of the exterior frontage and internal doorway access.
This included the removal of existing masonry canopy and the replacement of the existing glazed entrance screen incorporating a revolving door and a power assisted door to aid the access and egress of wheel chair users.
Associated works included making the entrance fully DDA compliant, recladding natural stone work, wall linings and internal decoration.
It was completed on time and within the agreed budget. The client was delighted with the result as were all end users.
