akp was approached pre-contract and worked closely with the client's representatives, architect and engineer to co-ordinate the design and cost plan for the project.
akp was responsible for the design, programming and cost control of the entire fast track project, employing the design team directly.
The £4 million project at the state of the art distribution facility was one of the most complex, challenging and rewarding jobs undertaken by akp.
The fast track 20 week programme involved working alongside the daily operations of TDG ensuring the day to day activities of the business were not compromised in any way.
The project was completed to the client's satisfaction meeting all critical sectional completions within timescale and budget. The distribution facility was working at full capacity for the busy Christmas trading period.
