Level 01 Gynaecology Unit: Works consisted of the demolition of an existing public ramp between level 00 and 01 making way for a new two storey extension.  The open plan area was then divided into two operating theatres and associated rooms.  Two plant rooms were formed to the rear on an existing roof - an extensive mechanical and electrical fit out.  The area was fully fitted out with new ceilings, flooring and decoration.
The external work package included uplifting of existing slabs at the main entrance and forming new paths along with steps at the underpass.  Rendering to the façade completed the works.
Level 00 internal fit out: included partitions, ceilings, floor and wall finishes, plumbing, mechanical and electrical installation, internal doors and decoration works.
Level 3 Birthing Suite:  Refurbishment of the existing Level 3, from a six bed ward, one exam room, one waiting room and one consulting room to form four new birthing suites, two of which contain birthing pools.  Each suite contains an ensuite and store room containing birthing equipment.
Works include the demolishing of internal partition walls, new suspended ceiling, disconnection /capping of all existing services before fully rewiring all electrical/mechanical services for the connection to existing drainage
Full decoration and laying of new floor-coverings completed the project.
