Turner & Co Head Office Refurbishment
The £1.1 million refurbishment of an existing single storey office and workshop building to provide new office space. All this in a live 24/7 working environment.
The project involved the formation of cellular and open plan office accommodation as well as kitchen, canteen and toilet areas.
The refurbishment included roof repairs, restoration of external walls and glazing, mechanical and electrical installations and internal fit out.
New workstations, breakout areas and modern meeting rooms provided the end users with a stimulating vibrant working environment.
The existing loading bay doors were replaced by a new curtain walling system to improve the spread of natural light across the whole office accommodation.
A raised timber floor was introduced to link levels between the main areas along with a suspended ceiling.
New ramps and steps along with steelwork for demountable partitions completed the external works.
