The project was to form a data centre within an existing office block which comprises specialist electrical and mechanical equipment.
The equipment included installing Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Emergency Power Off systems (EPOs), a full sprinkler system and cooler units within the data centre as well as new raised access floors and full decoration throughout.
Externally a service compound was created which contained the UPS, back up generator, chilled water pump house, sprinkler pump house and sprinkler tank.
Security card readers and CCTV were also installed as part of the security measures for the site.
This project completed IBM's investment into their Collocation data centre to provide energy efficient cooling and electric infrastructure to offer resilient internet connections to their customers and IBM users alike
