Located within Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village is nestled below the mountains, offering spectacular panoramic views across Loch Goil and the Arrochar Alps.
akp were engaged as Principal Contractor to construction the £4.5m new three storey extension to the existing leisure complex and holiday park.
The expansion of the hotel included 19 hotel rooms, a gym, conference rooms, a café bar and offices with reception area. The total new floor area created was circa 2,634 metres square.
The structure was predominantly steel / glulam frames clad in SFS framing with various external finishes. The roof was clad with an aluminium standing seam curved zip jointed roof cladding system.
The project was delivered within a live holiday park environment, careful programming was essential to ensure holiday makers at the nearby cabins experienced minimum disruption.
