akp were awarded the contract to fit out the first floor office suite within New Alderston House which lies within Strathclyde Business Park which sits within 155 acres of mature parkland.
Ping Network Solutions was started in 2010 by individuals with a determination to create a world class, Cisco-focused systems integrator. Having worked in the industry for many years, they felt strongly that the Scottish market deserved a more focused solutions provider with quality engineers that, crucially, would be based locally.
New Alderston House is a two storey building with Ping Networks occupying the first floor which comprises a floor plate of 6,500 sq ft. The building was occupied by a number of parties and continued to operate for the duration of the contract. As a consequence, due cognisance was taken not to disturb.
The works comprise of the fit out of first floor office suite. Works include downtakings of existing partitions, carpet finish, suspended ceiling and existing Mechanical and Electrical installations. New metal stud and glazed partitions to sub-divide the office space. New internal doors, flooring, suspended ceilings. Installation of new fixtures and fittings comprising tea preparation area, booth seating, storage areas, sanitary fittings and worktop surfaces. Finally decoration throughout.
