The 6th floor of the Edinburgh Clydesdale Bank Plaza building is to undergo an internal refurbishment by akp Scotland.

Clydesdale Bank Plaza, the landmark office building in central Edinburgh, is home to some of the city’s biggest firms, including Clydesdale Bank, the headquarters of oil and gas explorer Cairn Energy, and some of the operations of food giants United Biscuits.

The 6th floor will undergo an internal refurbishment which will involve the strip out, and thereafter tenant fit out including alterations to ventilation and fire alarm system.

George Dillet, akp Scotland Business Unit Manager East commented; “This is another great contract win for akp’s Edinburgh team. The project will be delivered within the constraints of Edinburgh’s busy city centre and this is an environment our team are well versed working within. During the project the building will continue as a live office environment with many floors remaining occupied. This situation is something which akp have learnt to treat particularly sensitively to accommodate those tenants within close proximity to the works taking place.”
