akp has carried out numerous office fit out project in St Vincent Street in Glasgow City Centre and were delighted to have been awarded this high specification project.
The plans outlined a scheme to sub-divide the office suite to split Level 1 into two separate office suites.
A partition wall from floor slab to ceiling slab was installed to form a new entrance area.
The fit out works to the East Suite comprised:
Existing fire alarm system to remain and be adapted to suit new layout.
Installation of new partition systems and new single glazed door sets to form new meeting rooms layout.
Associated M&E works including AV installation works (video conferencing), fan coil units.
New lighting design to replace existing lighting.
Downtaking / strip out works.

Initiatives including local SME supply chain opportunities and a Foodbank Collection for Glasgow SW Foodbank were carried out on site.

The project was registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and was targeted to achieve simply Compliant but the team at akp like to aim high and we were delighted to have achieved Performance Beyond Compliance.

The Operations and Commercial teams have been excellent throughout and have been very supportive and proactive in their approach. I would like to especially thank Project Manager John for his efforts over the last couple of weeks, which were difficult at times for reasons out with his control, but he pulled a lot of rabbits out of the hat and got us over the line. Yet again, thank you for all your efforts and hopefully I get the opportunity to work with you all again in the near future.

Probably my favourite project to have worked on! A great professional team, highly knowledgeable and skilled and with a great sense of pride in what they do. I would highly recommend them.
