akp constructed this new building on a greenfield site within a live science park for a leading pharmaceutical company specialising in test solutions for clinical diagnostics.
The project consisted of a new build two storey steel framed building. We completed the full construction of the building and surrounding pathways including complex mechanical and electrical works and a lift installation. Included in the project was the full fit out of offices, laboratories, cold room and store rooms.
I want to take the opportunity to thank the akp team. The transformation is fantastic and I’m sure the children, staff and local community will enjoy their new facility for many years.
The Operations and Commercial teams have been excellent throughout and have been very supportive and proactive in their approach. I would like to especially thank Project Manager John for his efforts over the last couple of weeks, which were difficult at times for reasons out with his control, but he pulled a lot of rabbits out of the hat and got us over the line. Yet again, thank you for all your efforts and hopefully I get the opportunity to work with you all again in the near future.

Probably my favourite project to have worked on! A great professional team, highly knowledgeable and skilled and with a great sense of pride in what they do. I would highly recommend them.

School / WLC were extremely appreciative of how John and team carried out works, excellent lines of communication with school throughout. Also, the site housekeeping, co-ordination, health and safety were all excellent.
