akp have completed the alteration and refurbishment to provide a bespoke facility in Edinburgh for the preservation of records, digital imaging and associated tasking of archival aerial images and film on behalf of the National Collection of Aerial Photography (NCAP) which is part of Historic Environment Scotland (HES).
Further to working getting underway at Unit 3 akp were thereafter approached to undertake the refurbishment and external landscaping at Unit 2 at Seven Hills and various other alterations to Units 4, 7 & 8.
I want to take the opportunity to thank the akp team. The transformation is fantastic and I’m sure the children, staff and local community will enjoy their new facility for many years.
The Operations and Commercial teams have been excellent throughout and have been very supportive and proactive in their approach. I would like to especially thank Project Manager John for his efforts over the last couple of weeks, which were difficult at times for reasons out with his control, but he pulled a lot of rabbits out of the hat and got us over the line. Yet again, thank you for all your efforts and hopefully I get the opportunity to work with you all again in the near future.

Probably my favourite project to have worked on! A great professional team, highly knowledgeable and skilled and with a great sense of pride in what they do. I would highly recommend them.
