Ian McEwan, one of the founding directors of the company, still leads the team at akp. Ian has been running his own business since he was 22 and has over 25 years practical experience in construction management, planning, and estimating. Shaping the growth of the business from the outset Ian’s entrepreneurial flair and ability to see the whole picture and act, has allowed the business to dominate the middle market.
Like many others in the property industry akp Scotland has evolved and adapted to suit the changing climate and marketplace but the company's ethos of "Building Pride" has carried it forward and leaves it in a strong position within its new chosen position within the Scottish property market.

Akp is pleased to announce three new project wins, all now currently on site for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde at Leverndale Hospital, Gartnavel General Hospital and the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley totalling £1.3m.
