akp were part of the winning team that picked up the BCO Award for Best Fit Out of Workplace for our Registers of Scotland project at last night’s National Awards ceremony in London.
Fiona McKie of Registers of Scotland collected the award on stage, accompanied at the table by representatives from akp, Graven, Cushman & Wakefield and Atelier Ten.
I want to take the opportunity to thank the akp team. The transformation is fantastic and I’m sure the children, staff and local community will enjoy their new facility for many years.
The Operations and Commercial teams have been excellent throughout and have been very supportive and proactive in their approach. I would like to especially thank Project Manager John for his efforts over the last couple of weeks, which were difficult at times for reasons out with his control, but he pulled a lot of rabbits out of the hat and got us over the line. Yet again, thank you for all your efforts and hopefully I get the opportunity to work with you all again in the near future.

School / WLC were extremely appreciative of how John and team carried out works, excellent lines of communication with school throughout. Also, the site housekeeping, co-ordination, health and safety were all excellent.
This is the second time we have used akp for a fit out project in Glasgow, and I would have no hesitation recommending them or using them again.

akp carried out the office fit out diligently and completed on time in what was a very tight timescale.
I cannot have asked for a more helpful and professional approach to the fit out. Programme completion date was forced by lease events and was not only met but at below budget.
