Arts venue SWG3 Glasgow held the switch on of their amazing BODYHEAT system this evening with guests invited to do the slosh to see how the system works!
In basic terms it harnesses dancers body heat to power the venues electricity amongst other things, which is such a simple yet effective system and one that will bring SWG3 one step closer to becoming a carbon-neutral venue.
akp have been on-site at the venue for a number of months revamping Glasgow’s SWG3 arts venue into a new cultural destination. We look forward to sharing images of the completed works very soon!

The Operations and Commercial teams have been excellent throughout and have been very supportive and proactive in their approach. I would like to especially thank Project Manager John for his efforts over the last couple of weeks, which were difficult at times for reasons out with his control, but he pulled a lot of rabbits out of the hat and got us over the line. Yet again, thank you for all your efforts and hopefully I get the opportunity to work with you all again in the near future.

Probably my favourite project to have worked on! A great professional team, highly knowledgeable and skilled and with a great sense of pride in what they do. I would highly recommend them.

School / WLC were extremely appreciative of how John and team carried out works, excellent lines of communication with school throughout. Also, the site housekeeping, co-ordination, health and safety were all excellent.
