akp undertook the formation of a new Biochemistry laboratory block on the ground floor.

The project involved alterations to existing fabric and formation of a biochemistry laboratory on the ground floor. These works were conducted within a live hospital environment and included complex M&E installations plus all laboratory equipment and furniture.

The new Nuclear Medicine facililty was installed with little disruption to the running of the hospital and was completed in two phases – the PACS room followed by the main works. The project consisted of M&E isolation and a complete removal of all internal walls. There followed the erection of new lead lined walls, under floor strengthening and new M&E services. A bespoke reception desk, flooring and decoration completed the project.
